About The YRS

Founded in 2004, the Yorkshire Retina Society (YRS) is a regional society that aims to enhance knowledge about the retina and the medical conditions that affect it.

The Yorkshire Retina Society is one of the largest regional specialist societies in the UK

The Society organises two meetings per year at venues in Yorkshire.  All ophthalmologists with a specialist interest in the retina are welcome to attend, but must register in advance.  For details of our next meeting, please visit our meetings section.

The YRS is a charitable incorporate organisation (CIO) and is a non-profit making organisation.  It is administered by the Executive Committee, which comprises representatives from each of the main hospital units in Yorkshire.

To benefit from becoming a member of YRS please go to the membership page.
